Adobe has released a second Release Candidate version of Lightroom 4.1, its Raw conversion and asset management software. The latest version adds support for 13 additional cameras, including the Nikon D3200, Olympus E-M5, Pentax K-01, Ricoh GXR A16 24-85mm and the three latest Samsung NXs. Interestingly, it also adds an improved ‘defringe’ option to reduce axial chromatic aberrations. Fujifilm has added more user-interface refinements to its X100 large sensor camera with firmware v1.20. The latest firmware allows the Raw button to be user-customized. It also makes it easier to set up the camera’s Auto ISO behavior and built-in ND filter. The update also claims to improve AE and AF performance when shooting movies. Fujifilm has issued a firmware update for its X100 larger sensor compact. The update, to firmware v1.01, corrects a glitch by which the camera wouldn’t turn back on if shut down while ISO bracketing in Quick Start mode.
